- One God—The shema (Deuteronomy 6:4)
- שְׁמַ֖ע יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ יְהוָ֥ה ׀ אֶחָֽד׃
- The central confession of the Jewish people—Set them apart from the rest of the world
- 1 Timothy 1:17—What a list of attributes! And so He’s worthy of glory and honor
- Exodus 20:3—God is worthy of all praise, and so He doesn’t want to share it with anyone else
