- What the Bible says about creation
- Genesis 1, 2 tell us that God created the earth in a week
- John 1:1-3—Jesus Himself (see v. 14) was the creator
- Psalm 33:6, 9—Once more, the Bible asserts that God is the creator
- What about science?
- It’s important that we don’t neglect science. After all, God created it, too

- Genesis 2:2, 3—God instituted the Sabbath at creation as a memorial of creation (4th Commandment)
- If God says that something is holy, then it’s holy
- Hebrews 4:9-11—The Sabbath applies to NT Christians, too
- Everything has a purpose
